Volunteers from the DHS vs GHS "Shoot for the Cure" Pink Out basketball game held on February 20th presented a donation to Francine's Friends Mobile Mammogram Service.  With the support of Auburn Tri Kappa chapter, the DHS cheerleaders organized the event to promote breast health in DeKalb County.  The rival teams joined forces to Pink Out the game selling T-shirts worn by both teams.  Fans made donations to support the cause.

DeKalb Health and Summit Radiology sponsored the event and had representatives available at the game answering questions.  The YMCA also set up a booth to promote the Zumbathon for breast cancer awareness to be held on May 2nd at the DeKalb County YMCA.

The Auburn Tri Kappa chapter has joined forces with several community organizations to Pink Out DeKalb County.  This series of events will culminate on May 21st with the downtown Cruise In, a Women's Health Fair at the DeKalb Community Foundation, and the Francine's Friends mobile mammography bus at the ACD Museum.  To schedule a mammogram in the mobile mammogram coach call (260)266-9180.  To schedule a mammogram at DeKalb Health Women's Imaging Center call (260)920-2513.
