Volunteers from the DHS vs GHS "Shoot for the Cure" Pink Out basketball game held onpresented a donation to Francine's Friends Mobile Mammogram Service. With the support of Auburn Tri Kappa chapter, the DHS cheerleaders organized the event to promote breast health in DeKalb County. The rival teams joined forces to Pink Out the game selling T-shirts worn by both teams. Fans made donations to support the cause.
DeKalb Health and Summit Radiology sponsored the event and had representatives available at the game answering questions. The YMCA also set up a booth to promote the Zumbathon for breast cancer awareness to be held onat the DeKalb County YMCA.
The Auburn Tri Kappa chapter has joined forces with several community organizations to Pink Out DeKalb County. This series of events will culminate on (260)266-9180.
