Techfest Team places second

On Friday, March 14, 23 students from DHS participated in Techfest at the Public Safety Academy in Fort Wayne.  

 Seventeen schools competed in seven major events. Overall we were second with 41,100 points to Adams Central with 48,900 points. Homestead was third with 38,200 points.


First place (all received GoPro cameras): our iSpy-Forensics team of Zack Lennon, Shayna Burrage, Jonathan Moss and Cecilia Schowe, and our Video Game Design team of Sage Mentzer, Sean Mentzer, Tiler Hettinger and Jordan McDaniel.

Second place (all received Roku devices): our Mathematics Madness team of Mike Rabe, Sam Griffin, Clay Travis and John Foster, and our Engineering in a Box team of Chase Alley, Jacob Good, Landon VanZile and Mary Burris

Third place (all received backpacks): our Website Design team of Anjelica Prince, Raven Blair-Lewis, and Keirston Snyder.
