Baron Advanced Manufacturing (BAM)
Baron Advanced Manufacturing is a partnership between DeKalb Central High School and local manufacturing facilities to expose, educate, and provide relevant real-world experience to high school students in preparation for life beyond high school. The program was developed in conjunction with and is a Purdue InMaC Pathway System.
Students in the program can earn industry-recognized certifications and credentials and are eligible to earn up to 15 college credits through Ivy Tech Community College. Students engage in learning activities both in the classroom and at local facilities as part of their high school education that prepares them for the highly skilled manufacturing careers of tomorrow. Students in the program are eligible for a paid internship at a local manufacturing facility during their final semester of schooling.
